Summary:  My experiences have branched across game design, game art, and much of the pipeline for both creating and shipping games.  Customer and client-based service is also a branch I’ve enriched while in the games industry, restaurant industry, and through working on multiple volunteer initiatives.  Ready to combine a love of communications, with a genuine enthusiasm for technology disciplines.

2019 - Present, Epic Games (Full-time Contract to Full-time Employee)

Service Delivery Manager:

On-boarding of developers and publishers, assets management, build store pages, product configuration, setting up or requesting permissions for external developers, preparing and executing launches with crosses into release management, page and configuration qa and test cycles;

2019 - 2020, Wake Technical Community College (Contract)

Adjunct Instructor:

Teach and demonstrate techniques in Unreal Engine, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop; Guide students through course material;  Guide lab time; Grade and review work;

2016 - 2020, Fusioncore Interactive (Team Start-Up) as well as Freelance + Independent Work
3D modeler, Environment Artist & World Design:

Design and develop 3D objects to fill the game world, bring 2D concepts to life in 3D programs, texture models and make additional models to fit textures designed by the primary visual artist.  Also import models, textures, and materials into the project file making them available for the level designer.

Project planning (setting milestones and estimates, performing integration tests, re-estimating time blocks for tasks, etc)

2015 – 2016, Prologue Games
Level Designer/Content Integrator (Full-time Contract):
Put content through the pipeline: Populate scenes with 3D models, convert dialogue files for game,
place characters in scene, set up scene navigation for characters. Add basic lights, light transitions,
set piece movements, and camera slides. Add music, stinger, and sfx to scenes with in-game trigger
volumes or dialogue scripts. Set up pacing of some in-game occurrences, respond to game “bugs”
reported internally and externally, tested all edits.

 

2015 – 2015, iFreestore - Duke Medicine (Contract)

Spring 2015 Semester Intern:
Help plan and research, assist in motion capture actor suit up, set title of animation clip and record in
motive:body, convert/export animation, match up video clips to the mocap animations, repair
animations using fcurve in motion builder, and practice correct file management.

2014 – 2018, The Pit, Empire Eats
Hostess, Server, Admin:
Designate seating for customers, keeping track using the open table application. Responsibilities
include seating, greeting, organizing, cleaning, taking reservations, taking messages, taking call-in
to-go orders, handling allergy tickets for orders, running food, future orders.

 

2008 – City Of Durham, Operation Breakthrough Durham, NC
Office Assistant:
Assisted six employees, purged outdated documents, filed confidential human resources documents,
memos and printed emails, typed memos, laminated various documents, organized desk space and
paperwork, made labels for file folders.

 

Volunteer Experience
2009 – 2013 Sharon Hackney-Johnson, Organizer Durham, NC
Team Member
Receive donations of clothing and non-perishable food, personal hygiene items.
Collect and manage cash donations of up to $100 per donations.
Managed shopping budget of up to $250 from cash donations.
Work in a team to organize the bags in preparation for shipment and delivery.
Distribute the items to homeless and deliver items to the Genesis house.
Served dinner to homeless on Thanksgiving.
Collaborate with organizations such as the Genesis House, Church at the Park, and the Urban
Ministries Homeless Shelter.
